Search for shooter after slayings in Kansas City, Kansas bar

KANSAS CITY, Kansas – In another mass shooting in the U.S., a gunman has burst into a bar in Kansas City, Kansas, and randomly shot nine people, killing 4 of them.

The gunman allegedly entered the Tequila KC Bar just before closing time at 1:30am Sunday morning. The bar which opens at 9:00am daily was due to close at 2:00am.

Kansas City Police spokesperson T.J. Tomasic confirmed that four people had been killed, and 5 others shot. The injured he said had been taken to local hospitals.

Police do not have a description of the alleged attacker and could not confirm whether there was one shooter or more.

The Tequila KC Bar, on Central Avenue, near 10th Street, only opened in May last year.
