Naidoc Week was celebrated in the Blue Mountains in style on Saturday.

The local community joined Aboriginal people from around the region for the annual event which featured food and entertainment, and activities for kids.

Held over 3 hours from 11am to 2pm on Saturday at The Gully in Katoomba, the event is held in July every year, not only in the Blue Mountains, but in towns and cities across Australia as part of Naidoc Week – which highlights the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
