Man burnt to death in fire in Central West

MUDGEE, Central West, NSW, Australia – A man has been burnt to death in a tragic incident in the state’s Central West.
The man was in a caravan in the early hours of Saturday morning at Guntawang, about 35 kilometres from Mudgee. Emergency services were called to the fire around 5:20am Saturday where they found the caravan up in flames.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished. It was then the body of a man in his 70s was discovered.
Police have opened an investigation into the fire and the death of the man. They have indicated however they do not believe the fire was suspicious.
