CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia – A man appeared in a Central West court on Monday after his white Toyota Hilux crashed into a house on the weekend.
The 20-year old man was driving along Lister Drive, Orange, around 9:45pm on Saturday night when he apparently attempted to negotiate a sweeping bend in the road but lost control and crashed into a home. There was a family of five in the home at the time however none of them were injured.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was subjected to a breath test by officers, which returned a positive result.
The 20-year old was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station, where a subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.112.
He was charged and had his license automatically suspended, ahead of his appearance at Orange Local Court on Monday.
