Clare Palmer of Gilgandra wins Rhino Ramble at 2017 Dubbo Stampede

DUBBO, Central West, NSW, Australia – Clare Palmer of Gilgandra has made history at the annual Dubbo Stampede.
Clare has taken out the gruelling 42.2 kilometre Rhino Ramble, and what’s more she did it in less than 3 hours.
Her time was two hours, 55 minutes and 56 seconds.
Alex Visser of Lithgow came in second, 28 seconds behind Clare at 2 hours, 55 minutes and 28 seconds.
Clare is the first woman to win the event.
The other two major events in the Stampede were the Dingo Dash and the Cheetah Chase. Mitch Williamson of Orange won both events.
