Central West man faces extraordinary range of charges

CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia – A man has been arrested in the New South Wales Central West on domestic violence charges.

The man was taken into custody on Friday at Orange.

He was charged not only with the alleged domestic violence offences, but faces an extraordinary, and extensive range of other charges.

Those charges include:

  • Drive motor vehicle during disqualification second offence
  • Use etc offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention
  • Hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty
  • Drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous

The man was also charged in relation to outstanding warrants:

  • Reckless grievous bodily harm (domestic violence)
  • Police pursuit- not stop drive recklessly second offence
  • Goods in personal custody suspected being stolen
  • Drive conveyance taken without consent of owner
  • Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period second offence
  • Use class A vehicle displaying misleading etc number plate
  • Unlawfully possess number plates
  • Unlawfully possess thing resembles etc number plate
  • Four counts of breach of bail
