Single-vehicle collision claims life of man in South Grafton

COFFS HARBOUR, NSW, Australia – A 25-year old man was killed Tuesday when his car crashed into a billboard and tree in the Northern Rivers region of new South Wales.
The single-vehicle crash took place around 3:20pm Tuesday along Big River Way in South Grafton, about 680 kilometres north of Sydney.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene, however the young man, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, had died prior to their arrival.
Officers from the Coffs Harbour/Clarence Police District say they have established a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police.
Traffic diversions are currently in place and are expected to remain for a considerable amount of time. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
