KATOOMBA, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – Police in the Blue Mountains are investigating the disappearance of a 26-year old woman.

The Blue Mountains woman has ongoing health issues and there are serious concerns as to her welfare.

Ashleigh Koutsoukos, 26, was last seen in the Penrith area about 11:00am on Friday.

She was reported missing a short time later and Blue Mountains Police Area Command commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Police believed Ashleigh may have travelled to Sydney and could possibly be in the Chullora or La Perouse areas.

She is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, is 165cm-170cm tall, thin build, and has an olive complexion and black hair.

Police are asking for anyone with information about Ashleigh’s whereabouts to contact Blue Mountains Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
