After powerful quake, death toll mounts in Japan

TOKYO, Japan – The series of back to back environmental disasters in Japan have left the country and its various grief stricken cities in a complete mess.

Last week, just as the county was trying to recover from what was dubbed as the most powerful storm in 25 years, which left at least 11 people dead, Japan was struck by a powerful magnitude 6.7 earthquake that triggered landslides.

The landslide, which impacted Atsuma in the region the most, along with the rest of the island – is now causing more troulb.

The island affected bi scores of injuries and a reconstruction project is also facing a tragic moment of loss of life and everything else would not only be an extremely costly and a deeply emotional rebuilding affair.
