Police seek help in solving cold case of 19-year old Katoomba girl Belinda Peisley, who went missing in 1998

KATOOMBA, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – It has been 19 years now since nineteen-year-old Belinda Peisley was last sighted at her home on Trow Avenue, Katoomba, on 26 September 1998.

Police have identified a number of persons of interest and followed numerous lines of inquiry.

Investigations have revealed that Belinda received a considerable inheritance prior to her death, and as a result she had many people frequenting her home.

She had also developed a significant drug problem and had accumulated considerable debt.

Police believe she met with foul play but need more information from the public to put the pieces of the puzzle together and make a breakthrough.

When Ms Peisley disappeared, she left behind two sons.

A reward of up to $100,000 remains in place for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance, and presumed murder, of Belinda Peisley.
