Police investigating multiple burglaries in Chifley and Central West

ORANGE, Central West, NSW, Australia – As part of an investigation into multiple burglaries in the Chifley and Central West police districts, a search warrant was executed on a home in Orange on Tuesday.
The burglaries are understood to have occurred at businesses in thirteen different locations.
The investigation began last month and is being carried out by officers from the Central West Proactive Investigation Team.
Officers from the Central West Police District carried out the raid on Tuesday.
Proceeds of crime including cash and an Eftpos machine were recovered in the search. Police also seized cannabis, prohibited weapons and ammunition.
Police say a 35-year-old woman is assisting them in their investigation.
