Orange to Blayney & Carcoar pipeline making good progress

Oct 24, 2017

ORANGE, Central West, NSW, Australia – The $28.7 million pipeline project from Orange to Blayney and Carcoar in the Central West is making good progress.

Approximately 60 kilometres of piping has now been built underground.

A recent study found 29 towns in the area required water security improvements. The construction of the potable water supply pipeline will connect two water utility centres and, according to local member Paul Toole, will improve water security across a large area of the Central West.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of this year, with commissioning planned for early 2018.
