Nominations for 2019 Bathurst Living Legend close on Friday

BATHURST, Central West, NSW, Australia – Nominations for this year’s Living Legend close this coming Friday (15 March 2019).

The Living Legend award was introduced in 2015 as part of the Bathurst Bicentenary celebrations .

The award recognises the achievements of individuals and the way they have contributed positively to the community. They could be proven leaders amongst their peers. They possess a drive to promote the positive qualities of Council, the community and local businesses.

An individual can be considered for the Living Legends list if they live in the Bathurst Regional Council area and have contributed to making Bathurst a great place to live and visit.

The award is announced on Proclamation Day in May each year.

The Legends also have a tree planted on the Living Legends Avenue of trees on Bradwardine Road, with a plaque identifying each Legend’s tree.
