CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia – A motorcyclist has been killed in the state’s Central West late Wednesday afternoon, after his bike collided with a truck.
Just before 3:00pm Wednesday emergency services were called to Dandaloo Street in Trangie, near Dubbo, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a truck.
Despite efforts to revive the motorcyclist, he died at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured. He was taken to Trangie Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
