Motorbike rider dies after hitting kangaroo in crash near Wellington

ORANGE, Central West, NSW, Australia – A motorbike rider has been tragically killed in the state’s Central West.
The crash occurred on Saturday night just before 9:00pm.
It is understood the motorbike rider hit a kangaroo causing him to fall off his bike, on the Goolma Road at Spicers Creek, about 36 kilometres northeast of Wellington.
The man died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
