Member of public finds stolen property near Lawson Pool

SPRINGWOOD, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – Blue Mountains Police were alerted on Thursday to the discovery of what was found to be stolen property in bushland near the Lawson Pool, in Lawson, in the Blue Mountains.
The property was located on Thursday and immediately police were notified.
Several items were located at this site including World War Two Medals that had been stolen from a house in Katoomba.
In a statementr issued on Friday, police said the stolen property had been returned to the owners and police investigations were continuing.
