Man in 60s dies after his motorbike collides with car in Central West

CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia – A motorcyclist has been killed in a two-vehicle collision in the New South Wales Central West.

The collision took place around 11:00am on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to Windeyer Road at Windeyer, about 30km south of Mudgee, following reports a motorcycle and a Holden Barina hatchback had collided.

The motorcyclist, a man believed to be aged in his 60s, died at the scene.

The driver of the hatchback, a 51-year-old woman, was taken to Mudgee Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene with the Crash Investigation Unit investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
