LITHGOW, Central West, NSW, Australia – The JM Robson Aquatic Centre (Lithgow swimming pool) will remain open for the foreseeable future.

The pool had been scheduled to close on Saturday for works on the 25m indoor pool, however the closure has been postponed.

The Council on Friday advised that the closure had been averted as there were difficulties in obtaining parts from overseas.

The pool was to close on Saturday and remain closed until 7 October 2018.

Instead Council will now be keeping the outdoor area open as scheduled, with the added bonus of the 25m pool running for the school holidays as well.

The 50m is currently heated to 26 degrees and is available for use.
