BATHURST, Central West, NSW Australia – It has been a violent two days in the Bathurst suburb of Kelso.
A number of people were involved in a violent home invasion in the town in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police say ‘several persons….armed with a weapon’ forced their way into a home at Kelso at around 1:30am Monday.
A man was assaulted while furniture and other belongings in the premises were smashed.
Chifley Police are investigating the incident.
In another incidence of violence in Kelso, a brawl at a local hotel on Saturday night resulted in two people being hospitalised, one with a broken leg.
A 38-year old man has been charged over that incident and will face Bathurst Local Court on 7 January 2019.
