Drug operation in Woodford shut down, 25-year old man arrested

WOODFORD, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – A sophisticated hydroponic cannabis growing step-up has been discovered at a home in Woodford in the Blue Mountains.
Blue Mountains Proactive Crime Team Officers acting on information they say they received, visited the address and arrested a 25-year old man.
A crime scene warrant was issued for the location and that led to a search of the premises and the discovery of the drug operation. Police seized some 247 plants.
The man arrested was taken to Katoomba police station where he was interviewed and then charged with a range of offences.
Police say their investigation into the matter is ongoing.
