KATOOMBA, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – A 63-year old man who tested positive when stopped in the Blue Mountains for a RBT test had his two year old daughter with him in the car at the time.
The man was stopped on the Great Western Highway at Katoomba around 8:20pm on Friday night.
He returned a positive road side reading. Police then observed the man’s 2-year old daughter sitting in the back seat.
The man was taken to Katoomba Police Station for a breath analysis. He returned a positive reading of 0.086g of alcohol.
The man’s licence was instantly suspended and he was ordered to appear before the Katoomba Local Court on 25 March 2019.
A child at risk report was submitted to FACS.
