CDC says more than 139 million people fully vaccinated

ATLANTA, Georgia: The number of deaths related to Covid-19 in the United States will shortly hit 600,000.

As of Tuesday, the death toll stood at 598,059.

The United States with 33,380,995 cases leads the world, followed by India with 28,996.473 cases, and Brazil 16,984,218, as of Tuesday.

As of Monday, more than 171 million people in the U.S. had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, more than 139 million are fully vaccinated, the CDC said Tuesday.

The United States had administered 300,268,730 doses of Covid vaccines throughout the country, as of Saturday.

It had also distributed 371,520,975 doses, as of Saturday morning.

The CDC figures include the distribution of the Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
