Body of 3-year old girl found in Central West city

ORANGE, Central West, NSW, Australia – A criminal investigation has commenced into the death of a 3-year old girl in Orange, in the state’s Central West, overnight.
Officers from the Central West Police District were called to a home in March Street, Orange, around 7:30pm on Thursday night.
The officers gained access to the home where they found the body a three-year-old girl, and her 40-year-old mother in a semi-conscious state.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene and the woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
A crime scene has been established at the home and an investigation is now underway by detectives from Central West Police District.
