Blue Mountains Police Area Command appeals for surrender of firearms

SPRINGWOOD, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – The Blue Mountains Police Area Command is appealing to the Blue Mountains community to surrender any firearms that are possessed without authorisation.
Anyone unsure of the classification of a firearm is asked to call or visit Springwood Police Station – (02) 4751 0299.
Information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Information, officers say, is kept in strict confidence and can be provided anonymously.
