6 year old girl remains in critical condition after Portland crash

LITHGOW, Central West, NSW, Australia – A six year old girl remains in critical condition in Westmead Hospital after Wednesday’s single-vehicle crash near Lithgow.
On Thursday police officers from the Crash Investigation Unit were conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash. They have launched an appeal for anyone with information on the crash, or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
Emergency services were called to Sunny Corner Road, in Portland around 3:35pm Wednesday afternoon after a car carrying a woman and young three girls crashed.
The six-year-old girl was taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a critical condition. The other two girls, both aged 4, were also taken to the Children’s Hospital.
The woman was transferred to Westmead Hospital.
