BATHURST, Central West, NSW, Australia – A rollover of a car near Bathurst on Sunday morning has left the driver of the car seriously injured.
The man 33, was driving a Holden Astra south along Sofala Road at Peel, just north of Bathurst around 7:45am on Sunday.
The car, according to police, left the road and rolled over, coming to rest of the guard rail.
The driver was trapped in the car and was freed by Police Rescue personnel.
He was airlifted from the scene to John Hunter Hospital. It is understood he remains in a serious condition
Police have commenced an investigation into the crash.
