28-year old woman dead in freak incident in NSW Central West

MUDGEE, Central West, NSW, Australia –
A woman has died after being hit by her own car in the state’s Central West on Friday morning.
About 8.35am Friday, the 28-year-old woman arrived at her workplace on Mortimer Street at Mudgee and got out of her vehicle.
It is believed the vehicle rolled forward and trapped the woman.
A member of the public found the injured woman and notified emergency services who arrived a short time later.
Despite their efforts the woman was unable to be revived.
Officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District established a crime scene and have launched an investigation into the incident.
